Choice Enough For Everyone

With a choice of 5 variants of the SeaQ Panorama Date, we have the black-dialled version with a nylon strap to play with for a week. Each of the 5 variants offers a distinct difference from each other. Options are: Red Gold with a black dial, Red Gold/Stainless with a grey dial or Stainless with blue, black or green dials. In addition, each option offers a choice of straps or a bracelet, giving you a total of 16 options to choose from.

These photos just don’t do these watches justice, as the in-hand quality surpassed my initial expectations. The SeaQ’s inspiration dates from the “Spezimatic Type RP TS 200”, this was Glashütte Original’s first dive watch dating back to 1969.

The 43.2mm case of the SeaQ features alternating satin-brushed and polished surfaces, lending it a distinctive aesthetic appeal. Designed with crown protectors and a unidirectional, counter-clockwise rotating bezel, the timepiece exudes a rugged yet sophisticated charm. The bezel is accentuated by a ceramic inlay, enhancing its durability and making it exceptionally resistant to scratches. Furthermore, this meticulous attention to detail ensures that every aspect of the watch is not only stylish but also built to withstand the rigours of adventurous pursuits.

An Exquisite Movement

The sapphire display case back of the SeaQ provides a captivating view of the meticulously crafted movement within. Powered by the Glashütte Original in-house calibre 36-13, the panorama date function is executed with precision and reliability. With the display case back, every aspect of this exceptional movement is laid bare, showcasing its impeccable finishing and quality craftsmanship.

From the intricate striping to the meticulous skeletonisation, bevelling, and polishing, every detail is executed to perfection. The addition of beautifully blued screws adds a touch of elegance to the overall aesthetic. Seeing the highly finished movement through the sapphire case back is a real treat and one you will want to share. Offering a whopping 100-hour power reserve, it’s enough to take it off on the Friday after work and put it back on early Wednesday morning, ready to start again.

Strap Options

This version comes with a 21mm synthetic black strap, that has a highly finished deployant clasp, which operates as smooth as silk. Other options available are a Stainless Steel bracelet, Rubber Dive Strap and a choice of black or grey synthetic straps.

Priced at £10,900.00 this is a phenomenal watch. Which is less than half the price of the Red Gold version at £23.500.00. The quality and finishing you get at this level is superb and as you would expect. Unquestionably, this is a large watch, but it does feel smaller and is extremely comfortable to wear.
