Yema Navygraf Slim CMM.20 Limited Edition
Featuring Yema’s new micro-rotor calibre CMM.20. This updated rendition of the classic Navygraf boasts a sleeker design with a thinner 39mm case. Its refined finish, black lacquered dial with applied markers, and minimalist sapphire bezel elevate its elegance. This slim and versatile interpretation fits all wrists and adds a sophisticated touch to formal attire.
Following over 2 years of development and thousands of deliveries. Yema’s in-house micro-rotor calibre is now in continuous production within their workshops in Morteau. By internalizing manufacturing and significantly ramping up production. They can offer a highly performant and unique calibre at an exceptionally competitive price.
Redesigned Case
The new 39mm 316L stainless steel case distinguishes itself with its impeccable proportions and brushed finishes contrasting sharply with polished chamfers. Slimmed down by almost 3mm from the original Navygraf steel case, it now measures just 9.5mm in thickness to accommodate our CMM.20 micro-rotor calibre.
Despite the size reduction, this new steel case maintains a 30 BAR water resistance, thanks to a higher-quality sapphire exhibition case-back and an improved screw-down crown.
Stunning New Dial
The new dial proudly showcases all mentions in French and the MANUFACTURE FRANÇAISE signature at 6 o’clock, reflecting YEMA’s internalization of manufacturing and the local production of components. Crafted meticulously, the black lacquered dial undergoes a process of coating layer after layer, allowing each coat to dry in between. The result is an elegant, pure black polished glow that harmonizes perfectly with the dazzling black shine of the sapphire bezel.
Furthermore, the deep black dial enhances the interplay of light and magnifies the reflections of the two convex sides of the double-dome sapphire crystal.
The sapphire exhibition case-back of the Navygraf Limited Edition offers a captivating view into the inner workings of the Manufacture micro-rotor calibre CMM.20, a rare calibre deserving of admiration. Enthusiasts can marvel at the intricate details of this exceptional movement, adding to the allure of this timepiece.
Limited to just 200 pieces, each watch is engraved with a unique serial number, which is also displayed on the accompanying 5-year warranty card. This personal touch ensures that each owner possesses a truly exclusive timepiece, adding to its desirability and collectibility.
The Navygraf Slim boasts a 2.00 mm shock-resistant and scratch-resistant double-dome sapphire crystal, enhancing both its durability and vintage appeal. With its curved shape and two convex sides, this crystal not only offers better readability but also increases water resistance up to 30 BAR.
The grained calfskin leather strap in black color complements the elegant neo-vintage style of YEMA’s timepieces while ensuring comfort. This tapered strap widens at the lugs and narrows at the ends, offering a sleek and refined finish for enhanced comfort on the wrist.
New Faceted Steel Hands & Applied Markers
Featuring new faceted steel hands and applied markers, along with a sapphire bezel and Grade A Super-LumiNova, the Navygraf exudes sophistication and functionality. The raised steel indices, polished to perfection, elegantly complement the faceted hour and minute steel hands, creating mesmerizing metal reflections against the pure black dial when viewed from certain angles.
Retaining its distinctive intense yellow colour, the iconic Navygraf sweep second hand adds a touch of character alongside the Navygraf mention on the dial. Moreover, all hands are treated with Grade A Super-LumiNova for enhanced visibility in low-light conditions.
Sapphire Bezel & Grade A Super-LumiNova
Crafted from sapphire, the rotating bezel of the Navygraf boasts a minimalist design and impeccable finish, complementing the enamel lacquered dial and brushed case. Its unidirectional rotation and simplified 0-60 scale, along with a luminescent marker at 12 o’clock treated with Grade A Super-LumiNova, make it ideal for professional diving.

All hands are treated with Grade A Super-LumiNova, ensuring optimal visibility in low-light conditions.
My Thoughts
I have been a huge advocate of Yema for many years. My own collection has 3 Superman models and a Mk1 Navygraf, this is such an underrated watch. There is some intrinsically appealing about black and yellow, they work so well together. The yellow second hand has been a signature of the Navygraf since its inception back in the early 1970’s.
This new Navygraf Slim has the charm of the original model, but with the all-new CMM20 movement, which is a huge achievement from Yema. Do I like this, yes, of course, I do. I’d add it to my collection in a heartbeat. With the reliability of this new movement and the slimmed-down case, this will prove to be a success for Yema, I have no doubt.
It’s just a shame it will be limited to only 200 pieces, as for those hardened Yema fans, the 200 won’t last long.
