Anders & Co 2026 Summer Refresh

Following the success of the original 37mm AC2 Volcán, Anders & Co has expanded the collection for Summer 2026 with the introduction of two new sizes: the Volcán 35mm and Volcán 33mm. Designed to bring the collection's distinctive enamel dials and elegant proportions to a wider audience, the new additions offer greater versatility while retaining everything that has made the Volcán such a popular release.

The new smaller models measure just 33mm across, 6.5mm thick and feature a compact 40.1mm lug-to-lug distance. The softly curved tonneau-shaped case wears elegantly on the wrist and should prove particularly appealing to those who prefer smaller proportions or simply enjoy the comfort of a more compact watch.

Available in a choice of refreshing mint green, baby blue and soft pink, these new references inject a playful burst of colour into the collection. Whether paired with bright summer days or used to add a little cheer during the greyer months of the year, they're the sort of watches that can't help but put a smile on your face.

They maintain the distinctive dial architecture found across the wider AC2 Volcán range. However, Anders & Co has introduced the Breguet applied numeral hour markers first seen on the brand's manual wind models, bringing a slightly different character to the watches. The running seconds display has been omitted, resulting in a cleaner, more symmetrical appearance, while the mirror polished hands remain in place to catch the light beautifully.

The larger 35mm models retain the familiar proportions of the existing AC2 Volcán collection, measuring 35mm across, just 6.1mm thick and featuring a 42.1mm lug-to-lug distance. The elegant tonneau-shaped case remains unchanged, allowing the focus to fall squarely on the trio of new dial options.

Joining the collection are Deep Blue and Warm Sand enamel dials, both of which share the same dial layout as the new 33mm models. Mirror polished applied numeral hour markers and matching hands add a touch of depth and refinement, while the glossy enamel finish brings the colours to life, creating a clean and elegant aesthetic that feels both contemporary and timeless.

The standout of the trio is undoubtedly the new Burgandy enamel dial. Rich, deep and full of warmth, it adds a more luxurious feel to the collection. Complementing the dial is a set of mirror polished gold coloured numerals and matching hands, creating an elegant contrast that elevates the watch beyond a simple colour variation. It's a combination that feels both refined and distinctive, and arguably one of the most striking executions yet within the AC2 Volcán family.

Priced at £459 for the 33mm models and £461 for the 37mm versions, the new AC2 Volcán collection sits comfortably within the fiercely competitive sub £500 segment. Despite their accessible price point, these watches deliver a level of design, finishing and attention to detail that punches well above their weight, making them an exceptionally strong value proposition for anyone looking to add something distinctive to their collection.

There's a confidence to the design language that avoids chasing fleeting trends. Instead, the watches lean into clean proportions, thoughtful details and a timeless aesthetic that feels equally at home today as it might have twenty years ago.

While the brand's roots are firmly Scandinavian, its watches are produced in Switzerland, bringing together Nordic design principles and Swiss manufacturing expertise. The combination works remarkably well. The result is a collection that feels refined and purposeful, with a clear identity from the outset.

The arrival of the new 35mm and 33mm models marks the next step in the evolution of the AC2 collection. Instead of taking a one size fits all approach, Anders & Co has built the range around a flexible design concept, allowing it to grow through different proportions, dial colours and personalities while preserving the character and design language that define the collection.

What stands out most is the restraint. In a market where many young brands try to grab attention through increasingly elaborate designs, Anders & Co takes a more measured approach. The dials are clean, the cases elegantly proportioned and every design choice feels intentional rather than decorative.

That doesn't mean the brand is afraid to have some fun. Recent releases have shown a willingness to experiment with colour and materials, introducing vibrant stone dials and more expressive combinations without losing sight of the overall design philosophy. It's a balancing act that many brands struggle to achieve.

For collectors, Anders & Co offers something increasingly rare: a watch that feels designed by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts. There's no manufactured heritage story or overblown marketing narrative. Just a genuine appreciation for good watchmaking and a desire to create pieces that people will enjoy wearing for years to come.
