The DEFY Skyline, a modern successor to the original ZENITH DEFY wristwatch model from 1969, masterfully bridges the past and present. This watch features bold architectural lines and the unwavering robustness that defines the DEFY collection. With the new DEFY Skyline Skeleton in white ceramic, ZENITH introduces a fresh take on this iconic line.
This edition combines a symmetrical, open movement and dial with a pristine white ceramic exterior. A first for the DEFY Skyline. The case and dodecagonal bezel, are crafted from highly scratch-resistant white ceramic. Feature alternating satin-brushed and polished surfaces, presenting a striking and versatile DEFY silhouette suitable for any occasion.
With a water resistance of 10 ATM (100 meters), the DEFY Skyline Skeleton in White Ceramic is perfectly equipped to handle any summertime activity, merging durability with elegance.
The DEFY Skyline Skeleton’s new white ceramic exterior is perfectly complemented by its intense blue skeleton movement and open dial. This vibrant blue dial constantly shifts with the light, revealing different nuances and adding depth to its appearance. The open dial design takes the form of ZENITH’s iconic four-pointed star from 1969. A motif that recurs throughout the DEFY range’s history.
This dial provides a captivating view of the El Primero 3620 SK movement beneath. Finished in ZENITH’s signature blue tone that evokes the night sky. Instead of a traditional seconds dial, the DEFY Skyline features a groundbreaking constant 1/10th of a second running indicator. This completes one rotation every 10 seconds. Designed for versatility, the DEFY Skyline Skeleton White Ceramic comes with an integrated white ceramic bracelet. This seamlessly matches the case’s contours and mixed brushed and polished finish. This movement features a unique 1/10th of a second indicator, directly driven by the 5Hz escapement, showcasing ZENITH’s innovative watchmaking prowess. The watch boasts a power reserve of approximately 55 hours and is equipped with a stop-second mechanism, allowing for precise time-setting.
