Tissot PRX 35mm Powermatic 80
The anticipation was palpable as watch enthusiasts around the world eagerly awaited Tissot’s latest additions to its collection. Now, the wait is over. The Tissot PRX 35mm Powermatic 80 has arrived in two captivating variants: enchanting Ice Blue and Radiant Gold.
These watches blend modern style with a timeless charm, radiating a bold and carefree vibe inspired by the late ’70s. These unique colours strike the right balance between boldness and elegance. Perfectly fitting for chic rooftop parties or busy city streets.
More Colour Options For A Smaller Wrist
Beyond being mere additions to the collection, the Tissot PRX 35mm Powermatic 80 in the new blue and gold are crafted for those who relish life in all its vibrant shades. These timepieces not only exude daring style but also boast robust functionality. They urge you to embrace every moment and showcase your unique personality. With such a choice of different colours, there will be something that suits everyone and with this 35mm option, its more of a unisex size or for those with smaller wrists.
Under their striking exteriors, each watch houses a Powermatic 80 automatic movement, providing an impressive 80-hour power reserve. Encased in a 35mm steel body with a mix of polished and satin finishes, these automatic models stand out with their distinctive waffle-patterned dials. This sets them apart from their quartz counterparts and adding a touch of elegance.
The Rhythm Of Time
Not neglecting the finer details, the watches feature a date display at 3 o’clock, enclosed in a bevelled and applied window. This showcases Tissot’s meticulous attention to design. The indices and hour and minute hands are coated with Super-LumiNova®, ensuring easy readability even in low-light conditions.
To ensure both style and durability, the watches boast a polished steel bezel, an engraved crown, and a robust sapphire crystal. Additionally, they are water-resistant up to 100 meters (10 ATM), making them resilient companions for any weather or occasion.
The case finishing of the 35mm model mirrors that of the 40mm version, featuring vertically brushed surfaces with polished accents along the case sides and between the well-crafted links. Not only does the 35mm offer a potentially smaller diameter, but it also slims down to a thickness of 9.9mm, a reduction of half a millimeter from the original.
Such An Exquisite Piece
The PRX has been around for sometime now and with the 35mm option, there will be something for everyone. The style of the integrated bracelet has been around for years now and I love this one on the PRX. The stainless steel’s satin finish outside and polished interior are of exceptional quality. The waffle dial too, we’ve seen before and these really are so well done. For the price, you really cant go wrong with a PRX and with a choice of both Quartz and Automatic, you have so many combinations.
I have never been a lover of Gold watches, possibly as I see them as a dated look. However, the more I see, the more I’m tempted to add one to my collection, as a classic piece. Of course trends come on go as do colours, but both these will be around for some time. Great work Tissot…again!
