ProPilot X Miss Piggy

The Propilot has been a huge success since its launch in 2022. There have been several popular iterations in various colourways. Some of the most impactful has been the Kermit X, launched in March 2023, and the X Laser in November 2023. Oris and Disney’s The Muppet theme continues into 2025 with the launch of the ProPilot X Miss Piggy Edition.

As far as I know, no pigs were harmed while making this watch. But, for those of you old enough to remember the Muppets, from back in the late 70’s to the early 80’s, this will be a trip down memory lane.  A super fun, playful piece aimed at those with smaller wrists, this 34mm watch will probably have a similar impact on the watch world as the Kermit did on its launch.

First up, you can’t take life too seriously with Miss Piggy on your wrist, and that’s a good thing. Unlike Kermit, you’ll only see her through a small window on the mirror-polished case back as the rotor rotates. This hot pink version has a lab-grown baguette diamond at the 12 o’clock position, giving that sassy extra that you would associate with the Disney Pig with attitude.

This new edition sees the Propilot X reduced down to a smaller 34mm case, and with this colouring and diamond, more suits the ladies amongst us. While the Kermit was finished in titanium, this now has a stainless steel brushed and mirror-polished finish throughout. Powering the ProPilot X Miss Piggy is the Oris Calibre 531, offering a 42-hour power reserve and 100m of water resistance.

This watch is a true light-catcher, with its highly reflective surfaces grabbing attention from every angle. The bracelet features a brushed wide centre link with mirror-polished outer links. With plenty of polished facets, it’s undoubtedly more of a dress watch. The polished fluted bezel, too, is very eye-catching. The 34mm (excluding the crown) x 41.5mm x 11.2mm case sits perfectly on her slender wrist, and the vibrant hot pink dial adds an extra pop of personality that’s impossible to ignore. With the added security of the Lift clasp, it feels very secure, too.

I have a real soft spot for the X Kermit—not so much for the Muppet connection, but more for that vibrant green colour. One day, I might just add one to my collection purely for the fun factor. But let’s not make this about me; let’s talk about the Oris ProPilot X Miss Piggy. I feel this watch will strike a chord with those who exude attitude and panache and were born to stand out and empower. It’s bold, playful, and unapologetically fabulous—just like its iconic namesake.
