Junghans FORM A Chronoscope

The FORM A Chronoscope by Junghans is a remarkable timepiece. Renowned for its simplicity in design a distinct colour palette, and its enduring mechanical prowess. It encapsulates the essence of New York, a bustling, vivacious city that never rests, right on your wrist. Much like the city that serves as its muse, this watch never sleeps either.

This fact is vividly demonstrated in the three fresh variations of the FORM A Chronoscope. Where a glossy, black-coated stainless steel case serves as a striking backdrop for its sleek design.

The matte black dial, complemented by gunmetal-toned hands, forms an exhilarating combination that’s further enhanced by concave chronograph sub-dials.  The meticulously placed day and date displays, all contributing to the dial’s clean and symmetrical aesthetic. Accents in vibrant orange, cool grey, and a spicy curry hue adorn the hour markers and baton hands. These ensure that time remains easily legible, thanks to a layer of colourful fluorescent coating. This delightful interplay of case and dial colours continues onto the leather straps, which seamlessly integrate with the sporty modern design through matching hues. This is a great addition to the Form A range from Junghans. The new trio of sleek colours offer plenty of choice for most occasions. The contrast of the black dial, against the highlighted lumed indices that match the strap colour. These really are quite striking, but I feel a 39mm version may be more popular, but only time will tell to see if the bring out a smaller size. Personally I would go for either the Grey or Curry, but that’s just me as I love a Curry 🙂
