The Portofino Automatic Moon Phase 37 Year of the Snake (Ref. IW459604) showcases a 37mm stainless steel case paired with a striking burgundy dial, a colour symbolising the fiery energy traditionally associated with the Lunar New Year in China. At 12 o’clock, the moon phase display is engineered with remarkable precision, deviating from the true lunar cycle by just one day every 122 years. The golden moon and stars beautifully contrast with the rich burgundy dial, complemented by gold-plated hands and hour markers.
This timepiece is powered by the IWC-manufactured 32800 calibre, offering automatic winding and a five-day power reserve. A special feature awaits on the back: the gold-plated oscillating mass, designed in the shape of a snake, pays tribute to the Lunar New Year. For added versatility, the watch includes two calfskin straps—one in black and one in burgundy—both secured with a butterfly clasp. Thanks to a quick-change system, switching between straps is effortless, allowing for a seamless transition in style.

Blending the timeless elegance of the Portofino design with the functionality of a sporty chronograph, this watch features a sleek 39mm case, making it compact and easy to wear. The polished stainless steel case, silver-plated dial, and rhodium-plated hands and markers give it a refined, sophisticated appearance.
For the first time, the Portofino Chronograph 39 comes with a 5-link stainless steel bracelet, offering both durability and comfort. This bracelet, combined with an integrated quick-change system, allows wearers to effortlessly switch to other options like traceable Swiss calf leather, adapting the watch’s look to suit any outfit or occasion.
Powered by the IWC-manufactured 69355 calibre. The chronograph movement is robust and precise, featuring a classic column-wheel design with 205 individual parts. Capable of measuring stop times up to 30 minutes, this movement is visible through the sapphire glass case back. The bi-directional pawl winding system ensures a reliable 46-hour power reserve.
